Wide-angleOur digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our camera lens expert
Bright in dark locations: thanks to the large maximum aperture of f/1.8, you can take bright photos in dark locations.
From landscapes to street photography: the 18-35mm zoom range lets you take landscape, portrait, and street photos, among others.
Silent autofocus: the autofocus motor focuses silently, so you won’t hear distracting noise in your videos.
No image stabilization: this lens doesn't have image stabilization that reduces motion blur.
Heavy during long sessions: the lens feels heavy quickly because of its high weight, so we recommend a tripod for long-term use.

Wide-anglein short this lens is wow, it's like having between 3 and 16 primes in 1 lens. this lens is sharp, but really sharp from f1.8. I use them every day and default to my 60D. ok mss a bit short with 35mm but that doesn't matter, the 1.8 more than makes up for that if I need more I'm outside anyway and then a 24-70 or 70-200 f2.8 goes on, I have this 18-35 also tested with 1.4 and 2x extenders and they work fine, the lens is sharp enough to have a good result even then, but I don't use them like that in everyday life. I've already tested them a few times with film and it's nice to work with the lens there too. This lens has a very solid build and you immediately feel the quality and precision of this lens. Less important but the eye also wants something, she looks fantastic
In short, if you are looking for a lens that can give you a new experience, go for this lens and instead of 3 prime lenses 18, 24, 35mm f1.8, just buy this one and don't look back

Great, only the AF cannot be used for video recordings if you record the sound at the same time with your camera. It makes quite a lot of noise during micro-focusing.

As a videographer, I bought this lens for my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Pro 6K pro. Beautiful image comes out of this lens! Highly recommended!
