According to our studio light expert
Simple and complete set with a high light yield.
The fluorescent lamps don't produce much heat.
The lamp doesn't need cooling, so the set is suitable for video recordings as well.
Mounting and removing the soft boxes takes some practice.
The LHDK-2B445 continuous light set consists of 2 lamp holders, each of which can hold 4 spiral lamps with a maximum power of 85W. 8 55W lamps are included. The total power equals 2,200W; meaning a considerable light yield. The lamps may be switched on or off in pairs in order to create the right brightness. In order to soften the light and reduce harsh shadows, you can use the included softboxes. They're octagonal, which ensures optimal diffusion of the light.
Ordered this beautiful set last month and I have to say I really like it. I used to always work with strobes, but this lamp gives so much more atmosphere and softer light. I only work with the lamps now.
You can set the lamps for how much light you want and how you want the light to be transmitted.
The assembly was rather difficult in the beginning, but the 2nd lamp went together a bit faster. Unfortunately no manual included, but there are plenty of videos on the internet on how to assemble it.
Here is an example photo of what quality they deliver.

Positively surprised by the quality of this lamp set. I use them for video recordings. The lamps have three positions, off, 50% and 100%. You can 'play' enough with that.
Excellent value for money.
But that assembling.. I am technically trained and I am quite powerful but this was not easy. There is no user manual. Tried it myself first (techies always do that :-)) and then started looking for instructional videos. They don't exist of this type yet. But you can figure it out on the basis of videos of somewhat similar lamps. Then go to the gym. It takes a lot of strength.
But, again, great lamp set!

I had been looking for lamps with continuous light for a while, and I have to say that I am very happy with this purchase. I've been comparing a number of sites in terms of brands and prices, and I was happy that I found this set on Coolblue for this price. There are very few reviews or samples of the lamps on the internet, so it was a bit of a gamble, but a good one!
Coolblue delivered this set, as always, very quickly and smoothly. As expected, the manual was not included (I knew this beforehand), but if you search for the manual on the Falcon Eeyes website, you can continue. Now the only negative I can say is it's no fun putting these lamps together, I think I spent an hour on them. In the end it worked much more smoothly when I used both hands and feet to put the softboxes together. So the second softbox went a bit more smoothly than the first.
Once put together I have no further complaints about the lamps. They are super bright and are perfect daylight for me. I use it for photography and to make YouTube videos. So I want to explain my subjects completely. You can either turn on 2 of the 4 lights or turn on all 4 lights. Even with only 2 lights on, a lot of light comes out. The bright light is not too bright for me, by the way, if you are afraid that your model will want to squint his/her eyes. The fact that you get two softboxes is also super handy, because then your model can illuminate equally from both sides. For the rest, the lamps certainly feel stable and the wires are long enough for me. They do get warm, but not hot enough that it's unsafe.
So I am happy with this purchase, especially for this price. Hopefully the lamps themselves won't break soon, because I don't know yet how difficult it is to buy new lamps for inside the softbox. You certainly do not get spare lamps.
