I bought this drive to make extra backups and started using it right away.
For me, 4TB, a minimalist design and USB3 were a must. An extra plus is the on-off button anyway, I'm not a fan of disks that start as soon as you plug them in. This will help prolong the life of the drive as I will only turn it on every now and then to sync files.
The rubber feet at the bottom ensure that hardly any vibrations are transferred to your desk. Even after a whole day of copying data, the heat development is not too bad due to the ventilation holes in the housing.
And to be very specific, the LED is white and not too bright. I used to have a disk that lit up the whole room and you were almost blind from looking at the blue LED.
