According to our tripod expert
Due to the compact size, the Manfrotto is suitable for long hikes.
Turn your camera to the desired position with the ball head.
With the quick wheel, you can quickly disconnect the camera from the tripod.
The tripod has a load capacity of only 1.5kg.
The head isn't interchangeable.
The Manfrotto Compact Light is a handy tripod for the novice photographer. It weighs only 921 grams and takes up 39cm when collapsed. You can easily take it with you during long hikes or on a trip. With the ball head, you can turn your camera to the exact desired position. Would you prefer to take handheld photos? Quickly remove the camera from the tripod with the quick wheel.
I bought this tripod to carry in my hiking backpack. It is light, compact and can still be extended to a reasonable working height. According to the specifications, this tripod can handle devices up to a weight of 1.5 kg. My Nikon D7200, including a zoom lens 18-200 weighs about 1.2 kg. So I thought that should work. Not so! The tripod keeps the device upright, but the ball head is not strong enough to bear the weight. When setting, you always have to aim a little higher because the device then always drops a little bit. Impossible to work accurately. This tripod is at most suitable for a slightly larger compact camera or perhaps a very light DSLR with prime lens.

Perfect for any system camera. You have to twist and turn the camera if you want to fix it which can be a turn off for people. No problem for me and certainly for this money you have a very good quality tripod from a recognized brand. Wonderfully small and easy to carry.

I bought the tripod for my system camera that I often take on the road, on rougher terrains. For this I chose to buy a light and compact camera. The tripod itself feels solid, only the rotary knobs feel a bit cheap. In addition to the tripod, you will also receive a tripod bag, which is made of a good thick material, but unfortunately very large. Which again counteracts the compactness.
