According to our PC speaker expert
Enjoy extra bass in your favorite games and music, thanks to 2.1 stereo.
Thanks to 300 watts of power, it feels like you're in your favorite movie or game.
This speaker system can only be connected wired.
The Bose Companion 50 makes watching movies and gaming on the computer an intense experience. Thanks to the TrueSpace technology, the sound is widely distributed and you experience 5.1 sound from the powerful 2.1 speaker set. The set consists of an Acoustimass subwoofer and 2 stereo speakers. You can connect the computer speakers to the computer with an audio cable. A special sound card isn't required to use the speakers. You can turn the speakers on and off and control the volume with the wired remote control. You'll also find a headphone jack on the control pod. Crawling under your desk to connect your headphones is no longer necessary.
I am very happy with the Bose Companion 50. I had a high-end 5.1 set from Creative on my PC, but the volume control kept acting up and then I threw it out the window. Well, given to my nephew. As a replacement I wanted something beautiful, solid, top sound and something that makes you happy. A kind of surprise egg among the speakers.
So chose this set. Budget also allowed it, I like to buy something good in one go. Cry once, buy the best. And I'm very happy with it. The sound is great, I listen to a lot of music during work and I also like a game every now and then, and it satisfies. More than. I think batman turned it into bat speakers in his bat cave. And if Bruce Wayne is okay with it, then so be it.
I'm not Bose about anything, but after installing I just thought the set didn't work. But the volume control remote control unit is also a mute (on/off) switch, switches on touch. Once I had mentally processed that, he and I went like the fire brigade again.
1 disadvantage: You may get Bose neighbors if you purchase this set.

I bought the Bose Companion after reading a lot of fantastic reviews. I needed a new sound set to accompany my iMac. Am an avid music fanatic who loves dance, house and lounge. Everything with a decent bass. These treasures will fill your expectations, and way beyond! What a sound. What a design. Such ease of use. What a shame you weren't allowed to get this right now.

Hello, I bought this Bose Companion 50 to connect to my laptop. And yes, TOP TOP TOP no regrets for a minute. The sound is astonishingly beautiful and clear. Even when the volume goes up, you'll still hear that clear quality. Very easy to connect and is also suitable for TV. That the price is a bit high? If you want the best, you just pay for it. This Bose Companion 50 is simply highly recommended. My next purchase is the Bose soundbar 300 with subwoofer for TV for sure !! Thanks BOSE.... :-)
