According to our earbuds expert
Active noise canceling reduces distracting, ambient noise and white noise.
You can hear a natural sound reproduction, thanks to Bose's TriPort-technology.
Noise canceling earbuds don't drown out ambient noise as much as noise-canceling headphones.
With the Bose QuietComfort 20 earbuds, you can enjoy music on the go without any distractions. Noise canceling somewhat reduces ambient noise, so you'll hear more of your music in crowded rooms. Thanks to TriPort technology, the music sounds clear and balanced. You can control your Android's music player with the remote controls in the cable and call hands-free with the integrated microphone. The controls in the cable are optimized for Android and don't work with Apple products. With the different sizes of earbuds that are included, you can easily find the right fit. Always try various sizes.
Note: the controls in the cable are optimized for Android and don't work with Apple products.

I've had this Quietcomfort 20i for over half a year and I regret not buying it sooner. I fly there a lot and have had the big brother the Quietcomfort 15 for some years now. On the advice of a colleague, I also bought the 20i, especially for shorter flights. I am completely surprised at the quality and capabilities of these 'ears'. The QC15 also stays at home for intercontinental flights, only the QC20i is still with me (save a lot of space in my bag.
The battery is quickly and easily rechargeable and lasts much longer than the stated 16 hours. Getting used to the (for me) strange shape of the earphones only took a short time, the fit is many times better than the standard iPhone earphones. What is very pleasant is the fact that you have the option to hear some ambient noise: no more 'playbacking flight attendants' :) Furthermore, you can see and notice that every part has really been thought through (a USB charging cable of 3 cm for example) to make use and comfort as optimal as possible.
Despite the fact that the product gets 5 stars overall, there is a small side note: the pouch is very small, could have been a little bigger so that everything fits just a little better. In addition, I find it a lack that there is no so-called aircraft adapter. Unfortunately, you can't go into every airplane seat with a single plug yet. For the price, I think they could have added a plug of 3 Euro........
Another critical note for the product page for Coolblue: you indicate as a minus point that this product is not suitable for Android. This is precisely because the QC20i was developed specifically for the iPhone, the QC20 is for Android. I assume that you don't mention the fact that it can't run on a Windows system with MS Office for Macbooks?

We have had an office garden at work for some time now. I've found that I can't concentrate/productively here. There are concentration cubicles, but they are often occupied before I arrive at the office.
I've been looking for a solution. A number of colleagues are wearing NC headphones. I tried these, but even though they worked well I got "sweat-ears" and found the pressure on my head irritating after a while.
After a search on the internet I came across the bose-quietcomfort-20i. Read enough reviews and these convinced me to buy, despite the high price.
As usual good service, ordered before 22:00 and received the next day.
Tested immediately the next day..... and satisfactorily. It's not that you don't hear anything anymore, if two people are talking next to you, you can still hear the voices, although they are quite muffled. If there is a general buzz, the NC suppresses the sound in such a way that it no longer bothers me. I have experienced that when you put on background music. On spotify there are enough playlists for eg meditation, then you hardly hear the voices.
For me it's about suppressing the voices enough that I'm no longer distracted by them. And these earphones do just that.

Bought for my wife. She has a very sharp hearing and has been annoyed for years by the noise of the highway where we live nearby. She even wanted to move. With Bose's Quiet Comfort, she can now enjoy her quiet moments. She is completely happy with these earplugs and usually uses them without music. Just to experience silence.
