According to our tripod expert
Thanks to the wide spread position, the tripod is suitable for heavy equipment.
Collapsed, the tripod is 113cm, so you can't easily take it with you.
The Light Stand L3900GA/B Heavy Duty 394cm from Falcon Eyes has thick pipes and a wide spread position for extra stability. This makes the tripod suitable for heavy equipment. With the first section completely folded out, it has a maximum load capacity of up to 22.5kg. A spigot with a 1/4-inch and a 3/8-inch screw thread is included with the tripod. This can be attached on the top, bottom or side of the tripod. This makes it possible to attach accessories to different sides.
Stability
Weight
Very stable tripod with a nice size of buttons that are easy to operate. More than adequate height range in my case. The only drawback is that the legs must be unfolded to at least a certain diameter, otherwise the vertically adjustable column will touch the ground and the tripod cannot rest on the legs. This distance between the legs in this case is about 1 meter.

Tripod is solid and feels like a better product than first suspected. Even with a heavy continuous-light head, the tripod is stable up to almost the maximum height. Very good up to ±3 meters, after that less stable. (It is important to mount the center of gravity above the center column and not let it protrude too far.) When retracting, the suspension is very nice and the flash/light head does not come down in one go. Set up and assembly is easy. Due to the large working height, the tripod does have long legs. So keep in mind that you have the space for this.

This tripod is perfect for heavier lamps. The standard spigot allows you to place just about any imaginary lamp on it.
the air damping is very welcome, especially at this height this can certainly save your lamp when it is needed.
It can be nice and high, which can come in very handy, but I would not use it in its highest position with a large lamp on in windier weather, or certainly anchor the tripod well with sandbags.
Kotweg a great tripod if the light has to come from a bit higher than normal :D
