In the beginning it works, so in my enthusiasm I bought 8 (plus two eve weather). 4 of them just broke. After iOS updates or elgato's firmware, the entire HomeKit system was messed up and everything had to be reset from scratch, including logging in the names, rooms and 'scenes' or the preset combinations of on or off. That happened to me three times. Took me 3 hours each time. It works on some devices, others not. Also something like that. When it works it works slowly and there is a lot of time between the switching moments, and sometimes individual eve energy plugs just don't work at all and then they do (I have an apple TV as a hub so the Bluetooth range in the house is sufficient). Often the message 'out of range' comes up, in short: all frustration. I have removed all the elgato eve's and just work with the switches on the lamps themselves again. Not so hi-tech but at least it works. Worthless stuff that happens all over HomeKit / elgato eve!!!
