It is ideal for those who want to listen to high-quality music in a small to medium-sized room. These speakers are very honest speakers: beautiful recordings sound sublime, less well-recorded music falls mercilessly through the basket. Although these speakers are very versatile in my opinion, I would especially recommend them to music lovers of the following genres: classical, jazz, blues, folk, ... There is more attention to the quality of the recording.
Where this speaker really excels is the reproduction of voices and brass instruments. I have not heard this in the class below €2500. The highs are very clean and extremely detailed without sounding sharp. The mids also sound very nice and balanced (not too warm or too cold). The bass tones are reproduced tight and with the necessary impact for such a compact speaker. Another plus of the LS50 is that the sound has a very wide sound field: in other words, you don't have to sit right in front of the speakers to hear the sound optimally.
The only drawback I can think of with this speaker is that you do have to surround it with good quality equipment. The amplifier must be sufficiently powerful (price range around €1000 seems ideal to me) and the source is also quite up to standard.
