What immediately struck me is how little vibration this device produces while working, so you can sand for a long time without getting tingling fingers. The noise is also very good, much quieter than my old Black&Decker.
Dust extraction is excellent and the dust bag can be emptied quickly and easily.
The machine fits well in the hand and you don't have to press hard on the device at all to get a nice result.
The only drawback I have encountered is that it is not that easy to find sandpaper in the well-known do-it-yourself stores. They do sell paper for machines they don't sell themselves, but not for this type of Makita. It is therefore best to order them via Coolblue, or go to a specialized store where they also sell Makita.
The device is supplied in a sturdy case that also has room for accessories such as the sandpaper.
Delivery from Coolblue was the next day, but unfortunately Bpost does not leave the package when no one is home, and I was only able to pick it up after the weekend.
But of course that has nothing to do with Coolblue, their service was (again) excellent!
