According to our sander expert
The sander is a part of the Bosch POWER FOR ALL 18V battery platform, so if you have a battery from the same battery platform, you can also use it on this product.
The on-switch can be locked so you don't have to press it continuously.
You can easily and quickly switch sandpaper thanks to the Velcro attachment.
The sanding speed is always the same because there's no variable speed control.
Wireless sanding rarely got done with as much power as with the Bosch PSM 18 LI. This is because this delta sander with Velcro pad can be equipped with an 18-volt battery (please note: this isn't included in this version by default). That way, you can enjoy complete freedom of movement without having to make concessions in terms of effectiveness. Thanks to its shape, the Bosch PSM 18 LI gets into every corner with ease and the micro-filter system sucks the dust directly into the supplied micro-filter box, so you work as dust-free as possible. The sanding pad of the PSM 18 LI is divided into two parts for optimum usage of the sandpaper; you can effortlessly release the delta point of the sandpaper and the sanding pad.
Had bought this version without battery because I already had 2 4Ah 16V batteries from Bosch. Unfortunately the 4Ah batteries do not fit in this sander (too thick), only 2.5 Ah...

Recommended. Bought as a replacement for an old device and I certainly have no regrets.

A nice, solid sander. I already had the batteries, which kept it pretty affordable. It's a good club to hold, although I'm a bit used to it. Excellent sanding.
