According to our WiFi repeater expert
Lets you connect 1 device to the network via the network port.
With a WiFi speed of 867Mbps on the 5GHz WiFi band, this repeater is faster than other, similar repeaters.
Download the free Linksys Spotfinder app to find the best spot in your home.
No integrated socket, so you'll have to give up a socket.
Repeaters only work when they're in a spot where they can still receive the signal emitted by your router.
Expand the range of your current WiFi network with the Linksys RE6400 WiFi repeater. Plug this device into the socket in a spot where your WiFi signal is still strong enough. For example, you could extend the wireless internet to the bedroom, so you can also surf the Internet and watch YouTube videos there.
Live in an apartment complex where Wi-Fi is often pushed aside by other Wi-Fi users. Good coverage throughout the house after purchase.
Good combination with Linksys WRT1900ACS Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router,

If you are looking to easily extend your network range then you should buy this one. Make sure that you enter both MAC addresses for your 2.4 and 5 GHz network (not the MAC address on the Extender) in your main router. These can be easily found in the web interface under STATUS/WLAN statistics.
