According to our WiFi speaker expert
Add a deep bass to your SONOS system with the SUB.
Thanks to the wireless design, you can place the subwoofer anywhere in the room.
Because the casing neutralizes vibrations, the sound is always clear.
The speakers don't support AirPlay or Bluetooth.
You need Spotify Premium to play Spotify music from the speaker.
With the Sonos Sub, your Sonos system's bass will sound extra deep. This subwoofer has 2 driver placed opposite each other, which produce powerful bass tones that make a song or movie soundtrack come to life. Place the wireless design in any place in the room. Thanks to the flat design, you can even place it underneath a couch. You can connect the subwoofer to any Sonos speaker with WiFi. If you want to use the Sub in a home cinema setup, connect it to the Playbar. Add 2 Play speakers to make a 5.1 home cinema setup.
Note: Sonos products don't use the 5GHz network. Always make sure that your WiFi is installed on the 2.4GHz network before buying a Sonos product.
Note: this speaker is compatible with Google Assistant. This means that besides this speaker, you need a speaker with integrated Google Assistant, such as the Sonos One, Sonos Beam, or Google Home, in order to use voice control.
SUB added to PLAYBAR: the sound is now really "carried"

Nice bass! Perfect as a complement to my Playbar and Sonos Play 1's. Now I have great Dolby 5.1 sound.

A real addition to your SONOS system, the sound immediately sounds fuller and a lot nicer, can't understand how I could ever live without it. Installation is incredibly easy.
