Makita 4351FCTJ

Didn't have a jigsaw yet and got it pretty wrong. So I bought the Makita 4351FCTJ. This was new to me as I am more familiar with the "bow handle" jigsaws which are a more familiar phenomenon to most people. The advantage of this machine is that your weight is more on the front, which I think gives you a better grip but also control of the saw. The saw doesn't make a lot of noise, as much as all the other jigsaws I've used (Metabo, Bosch). Did find that the Anti Splinter Plate fell out quickly, so you have to pay attention to that otherwise you will lose it in no time.

We bought this jigsaw machine because it is used quite a lot here in the house. it takes some getting used to the hand shape (it has a steering wheel), but this is soon normal and it does what it has to do! To get the hang of it, we first sawed a jigsaw puzzle from mdf. Where an ordinary "fat pear" continues straight ahead, this one is a pleasure to work with, very accurate and it cuts corners of 90 degrees without any problems!

Good device, cuts great
