According to our blender expert
The smoothie program stops automatically when the right consistency is reached.
The blender is suitable to crush ice cubes with.
The Tritan pitcher is sturdy and lightweight.
The blender sometimes doesn't mix properly, as ingredients sometimes get stuck at the top of the pitcher due to its round shape.
You can mix juice for your daily dose of vitamins in the SMEG BLF01RDEU. This blender has a powerful motor and strong blades that easily mix hard and soft types of vegetables and fruits. Choose one of the 4 settings to decide the thickness of the juice. When crushing ice, mixing smoothies, or mixing in short intervals, you can simply walk away to grab glasses in the meantime. That's because this SMEG blender does this with automatic functions and stops at exactly the right consistency.
Somehow the blended substance gets between the cracks of the plastic at the bottom of the cup - the part you don't unscrew (is screwed on) when you clean it. Maybe not a problem if you have a dishwasher, but with hand washing you actually have to unscrew it completely to get it clean. We use it every day, so that's not ideal. It also sometimes leaks from the underside, on the engine block, during blending. It blends very well in itself, also ice cream, and of course blending makes noise, but it is so noisy that you can still hear it outside on the street when you are blending with us (1 high). All in all, this Smeg looks nice on the counter, but I think you can get a much better (perhaps slightly less hip) blender for this money.

I have very little time and therefore hesitated to buy me a blender, everyone told me that there was so much washing up! But this blender is great, in record time you have the perfect smoothie or vegetable juice and your device is washed!

Nice design, which is why I also bought it, but the blending itself, whoa...makes a lot of noise on setting 1, much more than the previous one. it also falters and maybe it's just an accident, but for that amount I had expected more.
