That way, the food doesn't break due to the pressure. You can use this vacuum sealer in various ways, namely with a foil roll, vacuum zip lock bags, or a vacuum hose that you connect to a storage box.

Cook your sealed meal in a special sous vide pan of up to 100°C. If you're using a regular pan, make sure to use a kitchen thermometer to check that the water doesn't get hotter than 75°C. Otherwise, the plastic bag will melt against the hot sides of your cooking pot.
