Delicious coffee, finish machine could be better

We have had a Jura coffee machine for 12 years and after a short time trying the cups of another brand, we wanted a Jura again. But one without a milk frother, because we don't use that anyway. So that became this A1. We hoped that it would be smaller, but it is still a large appliance on the counter. After a month of use, the conclusion is: it is quieter than the previous Jura and also somewhat faster. The smaller reservoir is no problem for us. You quickly topped it up. What was disappointing was the quality of the materials used: they are a lot cheaper than the previous machine and I wonder if some parts of this machine will last a long time. Just the plateau where you put the cup on: silver painted plastic (looks a bit cheap too), while our previous one had an aluminum (so indestructible) plateau. For what such a device costs and for the Jura brand, we expected better. It's still good coffee!

Nice handy and simple device. After many years Nespresso switched to Jura. Good choice at first. After 1 year and 9 months, complete brew group replaced by Jura (free of charge) and again a year later. But now Jura was difficult and charged 159 & 69 transport costs. Immediately called coolblue for advice and they thought this was unreasonable. Repaired at the expense of coolblue (in collaboration with Jura) and returned my device within 10 days. A great service from Coolblue. According to Coolblue, you can reasonably expect that the economic lifespan is longer and therefore must be repaired under the non-conformity principle.

Advice for new buyers. This is an entry-level model from Jura. A more luxurious model contains better parts and this is probably not the case with this entry-level model.
