According to our router expert
With Multi-room WiFi, you can create 1 large WiFi network with a strong signal throughout your entire house.
Use the parental controls to protect children from harmful websites.
Easily configure the router with your smartphone or tablet with the Ubiquiti app.
This router only supports WiFi 5, so your wireless internet is less stable than with WiFi 6 if you're online with many devices at the same time.
Supply multiple floor in your home with a stable WiFi signal with the Ubiquiti AmpliFi AFi-HD Multi-room WiFi system. Because the different stations communicate together, your devices are always connected to the fastest point of access. This way, you won't lose signal when you're walking from the kitchen to the bedroom with your smartphone. The system consists of a base station with a screen, which informs you about the statistics of your WiFi connection and 2 satellites. Place the base station next to your provider's modem. You can divide the satellites across your home to create a mesh network.

I had been waiting a long time for the Amplifi to be released here in Europe and when CoolBlue offered it, I ordered it immediately.
The installation is super easy. Connect the base station, download the app and go through a wizard. Then it's time to plug in the extra antennas. I had a small problem with this: in Belgium we have such a metal pin in our sockets for grounding, which ensures that you can only point the Amplifi at the ground. Fortunately, this shortcoming was remedied with a plug.
The range is superb. Previously, I had an Airport Extreme and both floors above and below the router was the range to cry. Now with Amplifi, the antenna takes one floor below a 96% range and those TWO levels above a 65% range. As a result, we have super fast Internet throughout the house (and part of the street).
The base station is small and very beautiful. The screen is mainly a nice gimmick, but makes sure that you feel that you are dealing with a premium product.

Tried absolutely everything (Apple, Netgear, Dlink, Linksys, TP-Link), but this router finally delivers what it promises, full coverage throughout the house. The installation of the mesh points is "seamless" and they work great indeed with no loss of bandwidth at all. On all floors including the attic and the garden I now have full 2.4 and 5 Ghz coverage. If you were also satisfied with an Apple Airport because of its user-friendliness (I also had before), then this is the rightful successor.

Very satisfied with 1 WiFi network throughout the house, but if you are connected to a mesh point, the speed drops seriously, but still a good solution if you don't want to lay utp cables everywhere in the house.
