According to our motorcycle headset expert
You have contact with 1 other motorcyclist or passenger up to a distance of 400 meters.
The headset also communicates with headsets from other brands than just Sena.
You record and reject calls via voice control.
The maximum range of the headset isn't always attainable, due to obstacles or jammers.
The headset is unable to let you hear multiple audio channels simultaneously.
With the Sena SMH5 Only you talk to your passenger or with another motorcyclist up to a distance of 400 meters. Thanks to the large dial, it is easy to operate the headset, even with thick gloves. It is possible to connect 2 smartphones with the headset. But you also connect the SMH5 with a navigation system, MP3 player or another headset. This is not only useful for your own mobile devices, but also when your passenger takes a smartphone with you during your trip. The SMH5 has voice controlled operation and noise reduction so you can always understand each other and you do not miss your music. Moreover, you do not have to worry about being surprised by an empty battery, because the status of the battery is transmitted on the unit itself or via the speakers.
Very nice, very happy with it. Installation was done in 30 minutes.

All functions on it work well. Missing some "luxury" features but a great headset for this price

Perfect product for the price. Connects easily with telephone but also with, for example, a cardo set. Perfect entry-level model. Sound of music is a bit tinny, but can be heard up to 100 km/h including caps. It is inconvenient that changing numbers is done by pressing and turning. Not only clumsy with a glove, but often goes wrong causing you to use the intercom. Takes a little practice
