After several years of making coffee with the moka pot and the French Press, I longed for the convenience of a filter coffee machine. No hassle with discharging the coffee grounds and rinsing it forever. Just throw the filter in the trash and you're done.
So purchased this Braun. The water filter was the plus point for me to choose this one instead of the cheaper brother, as well as the sleeker design of this black car.
I quickly had the water/coffee ratio under control. This is no different than with other devices. You have delicious filter coffee in an instant. The device makes coffee quickly and almost silently. In any case, so quiet that I miss the slurping effect a bit, as my old device always did with the last drops...
What I thought was a nice addition to old Braun devices was the button with which you could adjust the turnaround time. This allowed you to play with the strength of the coffee a bit. Although I have to say that the taste experience is top, so in that respect it is not a loss, but a luxury problem.
