According to our trash can expert
The pressure mechanism lets you compress the trash, so you can throw away up to 3 times more trash in 1 bag.
This trash can has a 30L capacity, so it's suitable for a household of 2 to 3 people.
Thanks to the odor filter, nasty odors stay in the trash can better, which means you're bothered less by the smell.
The trash can only has 1 inner bucket, so you can't separate trash.
With the Joseph Joseph Intelligent Waste Titan 30L, you get a trash can that lets you compact your trash with an integrated compressor, letting you collect up to 3 times more. Simply attach the trash bag to the 2 edges, which you then compact using the compressor. This way, you'll reduce trash, use fewer trash bags, and you won't have to empty your trash can as often. Thanks to the compressor, you'll no longer have dirty hands. You open the Titan with a pedal so that you'll have both hands free to throw away trash. The lid has noiseless closing, so you won't hear a loud bang when you're throwing away trash. Another perk is the integrated odor filter, so you won't have to deal with unpleasant odors at home.
Always too little space in the container, so we thought this trash can is the solution. After some doubt because he is best at the price, ordered anyway. However, disappointed, because that 3x more is really not right. Bags come loose and fastening is no longer possible, because the bag is already too full. Overall wouldn't buy it again

I was very excited. Nice big trash can that is easy to clean. I don't even really care that the compression mechanism doesn't work at all, because it makes sure that you can easily attach a bag in it.
Things went wrong when a tiny piece of plastic broke off in the mechanism that gently lowers the lid shut at the bottom of the bin. All by itself, with normal use. Since then the lid has closed with a bang and I have decided to purchase another trash can.

Great product! The word 'compressor' in the description resembles a pneumatic machine, but of course it is not. It is a nice system to be able to do the pressing of the waste without getting dirty hands or broken bags. You lift the handle at the front and then you can press down. This creates more waste in a garbage bag, but 3 times is not really realistic, but 2 times as much will certainly work. And that is already enough. It takes some practice to secure the bags in it, but after one week I have mastered it well. And it works much better than a 'normal' trash can. All in all, Joseph is a keeper!
