According to our filter coffee machine expert
Thanks to the adjustable coffee strength, you can brew coffee to your own taste.
The drip stop prevents dripping when you take the pot from the machine.
The cleaning indicator notifies you when the machine needs to be descaled.
The plastic casing is less durable than a metal casing.
With the Bosch TKA6A043, you can set the aroma of your cup of coffee yourself, so you can make coffee the way you like it. The water tank is detachable, so you can easily remove it from the machine with the built-in handle. Thanks to the drip stop, the coffee stops dripping when you remove the coffee pot. That's useful, because this keeps the heating plate nice and clean. To enjoy delicious coffee for a long time, it's important that you descale the coffee machine in time. That's why it's so convenient that this model has a descaling program and it notifies you when it needs to descaled.
In the aroma mode, the coffee is considerably stronger than my previous machine (Philips) and also nice and hot. Good pitcher. Handy that you can set the water hardness and the time before the device switches off. Filter does not double up. The description on CoolBlue was not clear to me. There is also a red and a black and white variant, this is more clearly stated on the Bosch site.

No idea why a coffee machine like this, so easy to use, is barely usable after 5 months. I suspect it's the limescale in our water, but no other coffee machine has had such a short life. It makes more noise and steam than coffee, really weird! Never before did the windows in the kitchen fog up from making 2 cups of coffee :( Does coolblue have more bad reviews about this device? Can we bundle complaints? Can Bosch do something?

Apart from the fact that it does indeed make a lot of noise when walking through, we are very satisfied. The lid of the water tank at the top does not even have to come off and the tank can be filled in no time. Super handy! The pitcher lies well in the hand and pours very pleasantly. Why am I noticing this? Our previous Philips jug always spilled and when the jug was almost empty you really had to be careful not to burn your hand. You don't have to take the filter bag out, there is still a filter holder in the device that you can simply lift out, very well thought out and oh so easy. The design is different from standard coffee makers, which we sometimes liked. The stability is indeed slightly less, as someone commented here, but it is not the case that when taking and putting away the jug, you always have to support the device or something. Actually, I don't experience any of it. If you use/need a timer to have your coffee ready in the morning, it is better to choose another device. This is not possible with this device because of the soft button. Some devices have a timer as an option. Due to the design, the coffee maker is less compact, which can be a disadvantage with a small countertop.
