According to our camera lens expert
Bright in low light: thanks to the maximum f/2.8 aperture, you can take bright photos in low light.
From landscapes to portraits: thanks to the 24-70mm zoom range, you can take wide landscape photos and portrait photos without distortion.
Sharp handheld photos: you can take sharp handheld photos at slower shutter speeds thanks to the image stabilization.
Heavy during long sessions: the lens feels heavy quickly because of its high weight, so we recommend a tripod for long-term use.

Wide-angleDuring my productions, the 24-70 is almost the only lens I need. In addition, the stabilizer provides a wonderfully smooth image.

Very fine and solid lens. F2.8 is fine for low-light situations. Easy to carry becomes difficult, because the lens is quite large and especially heavy...
