According to our air purifier expert
You can also use this air purifier as a humidifier to improve the humidity in your home.
With a maximum noise level of 19dB, this air purifier is very silent, so feel free to place it in the bedroom.
Curious children and pets can't change the settings, thanks to the convenient child safety lock.
To make the air purifier work optimally, you must clean the filters every 30 days.
With the Sharp KC-D40EU-W, you can improve the air quality in your home. This air purifier not only purifies the air, but also increases the humidity in a room of up to 38 square meters. To purify the air, this purifier uses an anti microbacterial HEPA filter. This removes bacteria, viruses, and allergens from the air. And the carbon filter also stops unpleasant odors, which is useful when the dog's jumped into the pond again. The purifier uses a sensor to measure the air quality. If the air quality changes while the air purifier is in automatic mode, it'll adjust its settings automatically to improve the air quality. The purifier's display indicates the current air quality.
Note: for the best results, you'll need to clean the filters after 30 days. The manual will tell you how to do this.
During my holiday in Japan, a Sharp air purifier could be found in every hotel room. This ensured that we never woke up with a dry throat or blocked throat, which we regularly had at home. Immediately ordered this Sharp back from vacation and now it is also nice to sleep and wake up at home!
It also helps if you have had a pet visit!

It is an excellent device with sufficient possibilities and options. You can turn the humidifier on or off, after 1.5 days you have to refill the water reservoir. I myself only have this function on when the humidity is too low. Furthermore, it is very quiet on the lowest setting. Despite the fact that I can't stand noises in the bedroom, I can still fall asleep. Unfortunately no app with air quality graphs, but hey.. in the end it's all about filtering the air and it does it well.
