According to our circular saw expert
With a weight of 3.5kg, the circular saw is compact and user-friendly.
For a clear indication of your cut, the laser is a useful aid.
You can start this circular saw in the middle of the workpiece, thanks to the plunge function.
The maximum saw depth of 25 millimeters isn't a lot, so the circular saw is primarily suitable for cutting thin material, such as laminate flooring.
For light saw jobs in wood, chipboard, laminate, or other materials, a compact mini circular saw will do. The Powerplus POWE30040 is such a saw. The circular saw has a handy plunge cut function that you can use to start sawing in the middle of a plank, for example to make a hole for a socket. In addition, the POWE30040 is equipped with a laser guide to help you easily follow the cutting line. The maximum saw depth is 25 millimeters. The 3 included saw blades for wood, aluminum, and plywood, as well as the case for storing the entire set, make this a complete package.

If you mark off and saw off with the laser, the result is nicely square. That's what you get from being long she won't live with the fat pear saw. You can - when installing laminate - remain at the workplace, you do not have to go to the workbench all the time.

Handy small circular saw for cutting laminate. Difficult to grab the start of a laminate strip because you have to exert pressure to raise the saw foot so that the saw is exposed. As a result, he quickly skips the first centimeters. That's why I prefer to do corners with a jigsaw. The manual does not clearly describe how to raise the saw foot (red release button on top!). Laser beam helps to cut straight.
