According to our PC speaker expert
Enjoy extra bass in your favorite games and music, thanks to the subwoofer.
Connect your MP3 player or smartphone to the audio input and listen to your favorite music.
Via Bluetooth, you can connect wirelessly and stream your music services, such as Spotify, to your speakers.
You can't connect a separate headset to the speakers without a headphone jack.
With the Edifier S350DB 2.1 PC Speaker Set in your living room, it's like you're in the middle of your favorite movie or game. This 2.1 stereo system gives extra depth to the sound through the subwoofer and has a stylish appearance thanks to its wooden finish. Connect the system with Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, or optical connector, and let the sound resonate through the room. Once connected, you can control the system remotely with the included remote, which lets you adjust the sound to your wishes from the comfort of your chair. You can also use the buttons on the side of the speakers to adjust your treble, bass, or volume.

I was looking for an "all round set" for the computer so as not to have to walk to my large installation every time I wanted to travel a little deeper into the music. So the choice fell on this Edifier.
Now, after playing in the speaker, I went to the listening room out of curiosity to compare them against an installation that still has the value of 20 such sets. The review is how the Edifiers endured this aka "David vs Goliath" This test was performed after 3 weeks of play-in
just sketch the setting: DAC: Focusrite scarlet 2i4 in duplicate stereo stereo output 1 Edifier S 350 DB stereo output 2 Boothroyd Stuart Meridian 100 Watt monoblocks on 2 B&W nautilus speakers first generation (1982 versions) source Foobar 2000 all music in FLAC test music: Arne Domnerus "jazz at the pawnshop live" Rokia traoré, Eagles live Bjork live in Cambridge with icland string quartet, own music (with many nuances in the bass) some modern music, Shirley bassey, Serge Gainsbourg and the wailers, John Mayall In short music with which I have already tested a lot of installations.
at a good volume, the set does not flinch, on the contrary, the whole sounds remarkably balanced, nice stereo image, good focus and placement of the elements. very striking in terms of sound warmth, it comes very close! Certainly in voices it is breathtakingly close to the large installation. I did not expect that! It is true that you are not allowed to place them further than 3 meters apart at the Edifier. ideal is 2 meters between the subwoofer open in the middle (more about that later after the comparison in the comments). Consequently, the supplied cables are ideal.
The highs are also very sparkling and dynamic, now in comparison it may be that in some circumstances the treble knob might be turned down a little but this is taste. What strikes me most is that the tweeters don't do strange things, nor that Edifier wanted to "compensate" by boosting certain frequencies. There is of course not the same "breath and finesse" as on the B&W's, but very important: it is just "gone". That's something I'm usually a bigger fan of than trying to make up for it that ends in glaring stares. Fortunately, Edifier does not participate in this. Impressive if you actually think it's "only a 299 euro set".
The low: The sub is very interesting: Here too civilized low: what is not reproduced is not compensated by boosting other frequencies. Deep basses and very deep drums sound a bit "dryer", but -and now it comes- it is traceable and the part below 40 Hz is suggested. Very impressive for the size of the box! The bass is also clean, although it dares to "go messier" at almost maximum, but nothing bad. The bass lacks some detail, but nothing disturbing, it's very balanced! although you also hear that it appeals to a slightly wider audience than hi-fi freaks: gamers/film fans. When a lot of bass lines are mixed up, it has a slightly more dominant touch, but again not disturbing: you just turn the sub a little less (here it is calibrated at -2 dB for music, for movies I set it to zero because then you can be a bit more and that works fine). The perceptible layer is also there.
I did the same tests with the optical cable to assess the internal DAC: Then it all sounds a bit more woolly and a bit "mesier", but that's only very subtle. It certainly sounds better than any on board sound card or smartphone/tablet
When I think about what this set should serve, I notice that Edifier really does occupy a very special segment here with this S350DB, so there are some reservations:
For me these points are not a stumbling block and you are really rewarded with a 2.1 system to say "you" to. If you're more into music and still want a spectrum that's as complete as possible, then this Edifier is something to listen to. He can also play games and movies and if it doesn't boom enough you can open the sub a bit more, but I still have the feeling that Edifier has focused more on the music fan with this set.

Conclusion: Edifier has really been a revelation! I had serious expectations after reading all the reviews, but I didn't expect it to be this good! I can understand very well that people can get lyrical about Edifier. I'm going to enjoy the computer for years here and a very good "second set" for all-round use

I was looking for new computer speakers to replace my existing Logitech 2.1 set. I especially missed mid and high and wanted to get rid of that "paper sound". This set not only solved that immediately, but also gives a very good balance between bass, mid and high without distortion at low or high volume. The 3 speakers also merge into 1 sound field and no longer sound like separate sources. This set can easily fill a living room. I'm driving them behind a Soundblaster XG 5
I have a (very expensive) accurately tuned audiophile grade 5.1 installation in another location that I'm used to by now and this set (after some tuning and reducing bass volume) really comes close in terms of sound quality! you immediately notice from the size of the speakers, the weight (20Kg) and the first time playing sound that this is an audiophile grade product and cannot be compared at all with the usual computer speakers that you find at the current brands. Not a coincidence, of course, if you look up which products this brand has been at home in for years.
Incredibly positively surprised by this set and super happy with the purchase! Exactly what I was looking for
