According to our WiFi repeater expert
Because the WiFi repeater uses a special band to communicate with your router, you won't lose any speed.
Find an ideal position for the WiFi repeater with the help of the app.
With a WiFi speed of 866Mbps on the 5GHz WiFi band, the repeater is faster than comparable repeaters.
Repeaters only work when they're in a position where the signal emitted by your router is strong enough.
The repeater doesn't have an integrated socket, which you could use to plug in another device.
Extend your router's WiFi signal to the bedroom or utility room with the Netgear Nighthawk EX7500 WiFi repeater. This wireless range extender uses a special frequency to communicate with your existing WiFi network, so that you won't lose as much speed as with other WiFi repeaters. This also lets you create 1 single WiFi network, with the range extender ensuring that you're always connected to the best network. It's easy to install: simply plug the repeater into the socket and connect it to your router with 1 push of the button. You can handle the rest of the configuration process via the useful Netgear app.
Very easy to connect with ziggo box. Downstairs next to ziggobox blue and good range, above (1 floor and range through 1 meter cupboard door) range sinks and turns orange or red. In wants to upload photo here but says "try again later".

The range is just that little bit more than that of the lower-priced extenders and works seamlessly with an existing router.
