According to our camera microphone expert
Not visible in your recordings: you place the microphone on your camera, so it isn't visible in your recordings.
More atmosphere in your recording: because the microphone also picks up some ambient noise, you add atmosphere to your audio recordings.
Picks up little sound from the rear: thanks to the cardioid directional characteristics, you’ll record little to no sound from the back.

What a difference in sound when you record with this instead of the standard microphone. Feels good, looks good and comes with a handy bag to store everything. Look out; you have to mount this microphone on something. Laying loose on the table is not going so well, he falls over. It would be great to include a standard holder.

Great quality microphone for this price. The sound now comes in much clearer and with the included windshield. there is little to no wind interference when you are outside. The microphone has great quality for almost half the price of the Rode equivalent. The sound is also much better than with the built-in microphone in the camera. Use this microphone on a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. Delivery was as usual with Coolblue within 1 day. Great service from Coolblue.
