According to our weather station expert
The weather station measures the amount of precipitation with a rain gauge.
The cup anemometer will tell you exactly how hard the wind's blowing.
The DCF clock is in direct contact with the atomic clock in Frankfurt, so you'll have the accurate time to within a second.
The weather station isn't compatible with an app on your smartphone.
The Alecto WS-3800 is a digital weather station with an extra large display. The weather station has a large display for indoors, an outdoor sensor, and rain and wind sensor. On the large screen, you can read the DFC-operated time and moon phase, for example. You can also see the indoor and outdoor temperature, air pressure, outdoor humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and how much precipitation has fallen. In addition to the information at that time, you can also see the weather forecast for the next day. Both the sensor and the display run on AA batteries. When both have batteries, you can connect them with a cable to exchange information.

I think it is a bad product because after a few weeks everything falls out. Because you have mounted it in a not easy place, you can not easily send it back.
