According to our soundbar expert
With the wireless rear speakers, you'll be listening to real surround sound.
You can mount the speakers to the wall with the cutout on the back.
These rear speakers only work in combination with the HT-ZF9 soundbar.
With the Sony SA-Z9R, you can create surround sound in your living room. These wireless rear speakers are to be used in combination with the Sony HT-ZF9 soundbar. Connect the devices via Bluetooth. With 50 watts of power, the speakers expand the sound of the soundbar for a complete surround sound. The sound contains low base tones, thanks to the integrated subwoofer. The cutout on the back of the speakers allows you to easily hang them.
Makes a very nice sound. The soundbar was already a good addition to the house. Now we really have a bios feeling

The Sony ht zf9 is already a very good soundbar, but after a moment of hesitation, went for these wireless surround speakers and WOW what a difference. If you are looking for an easy surround solution in your living room without too much trouble with cables, this is highly recommended, a pity that the soundbar does not come standard with these speakers because it is really an essential addition to the soundbar, my wife was previously hesitant to buy the extra speakers but now that they are there and I showed her the live aid scene of the movie bohemian rhapsody where you really think yourself among the audience she is doubly convinced of this and we will not rap anymore without being able.

With this, the quality of the HT ZF9 really comes into its own and you can really experience Dolby Atmos. Great product!
