According to our router expert
Thanks to the WAN port, you can also use a network cable as a source, in addition to 4G.
The router has 1 network port for connecting a device.
Enable SMS messages in order to be kept up to date on your connection status.
The router doesn't have WiFi for connecting devices wirelessly.
There's no app available, so you'll always need a PC or laptop to be able to set up the router.
The Netgear LB2120 4G LTE is a cabled Internet modem with integrated 4G(+) receiver. If you're often on locations without broadband Internet or often lose your existing connection, the mobile reception provides a backup connection. Via 4G+, you can download at a maximum speed of 150Mbps and upload at 50Mbps. That's sufficient for maintaining email and payment traffic, as well as video streaming. You can connect a wired device like a desktop or laptop via the gigabit network port. The LED lights will show you how strong your mobile connection is. On top of that, you can set up an automatic SMS alert for your data consumption or when the connection switches to mobile reception. You can manage all settings in a user-friendly interface via your browser.
Purchased for a small office due to announced provider maintenance "one day next week, sometime between 9am and 5pm". Because of my previous experience with Netgear, I had every confidence in this. What was disappointing: IP Address for LAN cannot be set, WAN port only works with DHCP (so that in my case I have to put a router in front of it), SMS notifications do not arrive, switching between WAN and 4G works quite well if the ethernet link is lost (because the device knows that the physical link is gone), I pull a plug from an upstream router, it takes minutes before the switch is made. Not being able to save the PIN code of the SIM is also a defect. The device has a bridging mode, but I think the device can I will use it for my concrete use case, but then phase it out soon

Fast and easy internet access via 3G/4G. Works quickly and conveniently. No extensive knowledge of TCP/IP or LTE newtwerk required. Insert SIM card and it works

We use it as an internet modem instead of a fixed cable or fiber connection. Perfect for when you have relatively little internet traffic. User-friendly interface and easy to set up.
