According to our Motorcycle navigation system expert
Thanks to the anti-glare coating on the screen, you can still easily read the route in the bright sun.
With a 6-hour battery life, this device lasts relatively long without intermediate charging.
You control the navigation system with your voice, so you can keep both hands on the handlebar and your eyes on the road.
The 4.3-inch screen is a bit small, so it can be hard to see your route.
To receive traffic information, you need your smartphone so additional data costs may apply.
With the TomTom Rider 500 motorcycle navigation, you can easily find your way in Europe. The navigation system has all the maps of Europe. The Rider 500 thinks of smart routes to avoid traffic jams, or looks for hilly and small roads for great and challenging routes. It also warn you for speed cameras on the road. You can call hands-free and have your messages read out loud, so you hear them via a headset. It's easy to do so by connecting your motorcycle navigation via Bluetooth. This way, you can keep your attention on the road during a ride. The 4.3-inch anti-glare touchscreen automatically adjusts to the gloves you're wearing. This way, you can also adjust the route while you wear summer or winter gloves.
Rider 500 is a great device, chose it over the Garmin partly because of the cash back, but unfortunately the invoice date counts at tomtom and not the delivery date.

You can indicate a lot for exciting route. Some twisty roads, more twisty roads and lots of twisty roads. You can also select the hills, also 3 modes. You can also plan routes on your mobile phone or PC and have them synchronized immediately. You can also send the address entered on your mobile phone directly to your GPS, so that you only have to press 'drive but...'. I've also seen that the street was a dead end for cars, but not for motorcycles. Am very satisfied with it.

Does what it promises, good connectivity with your headset, can be operated with gloves and responds quickly.
