According to our rowing machine expert
Thanks to the anti-slip surface, the rowing machine remains more firmly in place.
The rowing machine is foldable, which saves space when you're not using the device.
Thanks to the hydraulic resistance, the training feels more realistic than with electromagnet or air resistance.
You need at least 2 people to assemble this device, because the assembly is complex.
With the Tunturi FitRow 70 Water, you can do a challenging workout that feels realistic thanks to the hydraulic resistance. The rowing machine has a high-end build quality thanks to the sturdy metal frame, which makes it suitable for intensive workouts. The natural resistance puts less strain on your joints than magnetic resistance and the workout becomes more intense if you row faster. The machine has 8 resistance levels to increase the intensity step by step. If you don't want to come up with a training yourself, you can use one of the 3 preprogrammed training programs. The rowing machine is partly foldable and has transport wheels, so you can easily store it after use to save room.
Note: you need at least 2 people to assemble this product after delivery.

Solid device and the effect of the water (sound) makes it a realistic experience for me. The manual is quite clear in terms of assembly, a little less in explanation of the functions. The screen is very basic, but connects smoothly with my own heart rate monitor (although it was a guess whether you needed a 5kHz or a bluetooth model, for example). You should put it against something (or perhaps place a mat) because otherwise you will effectively wipe out your room (so to speak). It definitely does what it's supposed to do for me, don't regret it...

In use for about two weeks for +/- 1 hour a day. The machine itself exceeds all my expectations. Adjusting the level is somewhat cumbersome (not recommended if you want to share with different users with a very different level). Assembling the device went very smoothly with two people and was ready for use in 15-30 minutes. A sturdy device that is easy to 'park' by putting it upright but not being folded. The rowing itself feels very natural and the resistance is nicely even. Too bad about the computer that is very limited in options and has only 2 modes (Race and Manual). The display cannot light up, so for evening training you always need enough light to use the display. Coupled with a heart rate monitor and an application for the smartphone, you are ready for a well-focused workout. Despite the limitation of the computer that seems designed for a machine of a lower price range, this is a nice device that is certainly suitable for a daily workout.

Handy and user-friendly set for assembly, no need for your own screwdrivers or the like, quickly set up and pleasant way of rowing, makes little noise, so that combining with music/series in the background is possible.
