Even if there is some wind. Flying via your mobile works well, but sometimes you still miss the controller. No matter how cheap it is. I have currently ordered one of those touchscreen controller pads. Let's see if that removes the need for a controller (gamesir Td1 ala €40). The video signal stutters quite quickly and so do your recordings. Because they are stored directly on your mobile. Even at 6 meters on an open field you will quickly get hiccups. However, purchasing a simple USB WiFi repeater (€7) and power bank (€10) solves this video stutter and you get 2x more range (200m).
You can connect the drone with an app other than the Tello app called DroneBlocks.
