According to our immersion blender expert
Thanks to the high power supply, you can also use the immersion blender to mix hard ingredients and for several preparations.
The included food chopper allows you to finely chop ingredients, like an onion or nuts.
With its 20 settings, you can accurately adjust the speed to the preparation, so you don't mix too hard or too soft.
A balloon whisk to whip cream and beat egg whites isn't included.
The Tefal HB6598 Quickchef is very powerful, which allows you to use it for multiple preparations without the motor getting overheated. For example, you can start chopping an onion and some garlic in the food chopper and then heat up the soup ingredients to puree them into a creamy soup. In the meantime, you can make some fresh pesto in the food chopper and make your own mayonnaise in the mixing cup. In other words, the immersion blender is very versatile. You can accurately set the speed with its 20 settings. For example, you can puree a soup completely smooth at the highest setting or chop herbs at a lower setting. After use, you can simply clean the separate components in the dishwasher.

Hard solid aluminum unit that looks like it will outlast the average dairy cow. Handy that it can be set so precisely to speed and a beautiful experience for the eye

The hand blender is very powerful and can puree almost anything very smoothly, from nuts and seeds to frozen fruit and vegetables. In terms of performance, I definitely recommend the hand blender. A few downsides, both the hand blender and the lid of the chopper are difficult to clean. In addition, high-fiber food sometimes gets stuck in the holes of the hand blender, you have to keep removing it and it is therefore not finely chopped. These are just minor drawbacks compared to how well the hand blender performs, so I can definitely recommend the hand blender.

Not expensive, but you have to apply a lot of pressure to get a smooth substance. This makes it less suitable for soup and baby food.
