According to our projector expert
You can see even the smallest detail, thanks to the Full HD resolution.
With the built-in battery, you can take the projector with you anywhere.
On the WebOS smart platform, you can easily stream movies and series from Netflix, YouTube, and Videoland, for example.
The low light output makes it difficult to see the image in a brightly lit area.
The projector doesn't have a zoom function that allows you to adjust the projection size.
If you want to show videos or presentations everywhere, choose the LG PF50KS. This mini projector has a built-in battery which lasts up to 2.5 hours. Put the device in your bag and you can use it anywhere, even if there's no socket around. If you connect the projector to the internet via WiFi, you gain access to the WebOS 3.5 smart platform. That way, you can easily watch content from online apps such as YouTube. Prefer to stream from your smart device? That's no problem, thanks to the built-in media player. No matter what you watch, the Full HD support displays images sharply. As a result, letters, numbers, and other details are clearly visible.
The LG PF50KS has a throw ratio of 1.4:1, which means that you can put the projector 1.4m from the screen for a 1m wide projection. For a 2m wide projection, you can double that distance to 2.8m. Be sure to check where you want to put the projector and if there's space.

Had first purchased an LG 720p version but returned it due to clearly visible pixels and an outdated OS and there is no question of that with this 1080p beamer; a huge difference! Photo and film look slick; color is beautiful and sound via bluetooth to a good speaker is overwhelming. The internal speaker is useful during mobile use, but the sound is thin and poorly defined. WebOs is a relief and the Netflix app works very nicely. Files such as photo, video and documents are easy to watch via USB and USB-C and accessible via beautiful menus. 2 HDMI inputs is enough for me. A downside I find that the screen share function does not work on wireless Apple products. Airplay is a different system. There is an LG TV app that works on the iPhone, but it doesn't work nearly as well as Airplay on e.g. the Apple TV. People with wireless devices that run on Android will have no problems with this. The fan is audible at silence, but is not so bad compared to larger beamers. The 600 lumens are sufficient for me and in a semi-lit room I can enjoy a movie or series at 80 inches. When the room is dark, 100 inches works fine. Many settings possible for both image and sound and countless apps such as Youtube, rtl xl and so on; the same as on the better LG TV. The remote control has a good size and works nicely and a magic remote from LG can also be connected to it. I am full of praise for the image quality, bluetooth, mobility and the wireless WebOs. This projector just has a lot that is good.

LG's PF50SK Minibeam is a sensational replacement for the 40" TV in my bedroom. I am now looking at a beautiful, virtually pixelless 80" FULL HD image, projected in eco mode on a smooth white wall. I've connected my TV provider's setup box, as well as a Chromecast dongle, making this mini projector a full-fledged, high-quality smart TV. Although I have a nice Qled TV in the living room, I go to bed early for fun and it still gets late.

Easy to use compared to other projectors I bought. Made a ceiling bracket myself because we didn't want to exchange it for another beamer that can do the ceiling.
