Every sound detail is captured perfectly with the Sennheiser MKE400. This microphone gives you maximum control over the capture radius, because you can set this yourself. The sound is free of white noise and contact noises, thanks to the shock mount and wind cap. The MKE400 filters out ambient noise. Power isn't a problem either, because 1 AAA battery is good for 300 hours of operating time. Any compatible photo or video camera with a hot shoe and a 3.5mm microphone port can now be provided with optimal sound.
Perfectly clear sound. Has a good vibration-free base for interference-free recordings. A great addition for cameras with a built-in microphone.

With my Pentax K7 I can now also perfectly record the sound during video recordings. eg : I now use the recorded sound of the song thrush as a pure ringtone on my mobile phone.

High-quality recordings with a strong reduction of disturbing background (wind, noise from lens and camera). The dimensions are not that bad, so you can easily store the micro. A protective case to store the micro would have been convenient though. Unfortunately, sometimes the detachable windscreen falls off the micro, making it too easy to lose. You can also not slide the micro completely onto the accessory shoe, on top of the camera body, because then the built-in flash will not open fully and it will not work. You can solve this by sliding the micro a little less far on the accessory shoe. It remains a relatively expensive investment, but I am satisfied with my purchase and with the perfect service from Cool Blue.
