According to our WiFi speaker expert
You can connect the speaker via MusicCast to other MusicCast devices in your house.
Via AirPlay, the speaker streams music from Apple devices.
The speaker makes connection via the internet to thousands of radio channels.
You can't connect an MP3 player to the speaker with an AUX cable.
You need a Spotify Premium account to stream.
Create a multi-room setup with the Yamaha MusicCast 50 and listen to your favorite music in every room. Connect the speaker to your smartphone or tablet via WiFi. Use the Yamaha MusicCast Controller app and stream music from streaming services or your own playlists. Connect the speaker to a second MusicCast 50 speaker for a stereo sound or connect the speaker to a soundbar or receiver for surround sound. You can also control the music via the speaker itself, thanks to the keys on the top.

Very quick to configure and perfectly seamless integration with other music cast devices. Pretty good sound for a streaming speaker. Exactly what I expected. There was an error in the invoice and Coolblue corrected it neatly after 3 days. Top
