According to our capsule and pad machine expert
Thanks to the 1.2L water tank, you can make 8 lungos in a row.
With its compact size, it's suitable for small kitchens.
Thanks to the Eco mode, the coffee machine switches off automatically after 5 minutes.
The coffee machine doesn't automatically stop when your cup is full.
With the Krups Dolce Gusto Infinissima KP1708 Black, you can make 8 lungos in a row with a full water tank. Compared to other Dolce Gustos, this coffee machine has the largest water tank at 1.2L. Despite the large water tank, the machine isn't large in size. This way, it takes up little space on your counter. The coffee machine is up to temperature and ready for use within 30 seconds. You can make different hot and cold coffee specialties. For a latte macchiato or cappuccino, use special milk powder capsules. With these, you can also make milk specialties or chocolate milk in no time. You can adjust the cup holder to 3 heights. This way, different cups fit underneath. Thanks to the Eco mode, the machine switches off automatically when you don't use it for 5 minutes.
You can make milk specialties with milk powder capsules, but not with fresh milk.
Easy to use and beautiful design. Just a pity that you have to stop yourself if there is enough water in it

A beautiful device. That is what immediately stands out when you open the box. A beautiful design that occupies a prominent place in the kitchen. The device is easy to use and with a wide variety of coffee cups you can make different delicious types of coffee.
The downside is that the coffee cups are very expensive and that there are no cheaper (counterfeit) variants (as is the case with Nespresso). The red cord of the device is also very noticeable and does not match the rest of the device at all.
Finally, I miss an automatic exit that makes you have to figure out per cup and type of coffee when you have to stop the water supply.
I would recommend the device, but the potential buyer would have to weigh the pros and cons carefully.
