rather expensive upgrade, but well worth the money

First we bought the multibeam 700 bar and later expanded it with the citation sub (with the multibeam the sub S is recommended, but the sub really gives a lot more 'punch' in films). The sound quality was already heavenly, but with movies a full surround sound was a big loss. There was also room for improvement in music. Because the bar only has tweeters and the sub has one immense woofer, there was still a gap to fill in the midrange.

Finally decided to purchase the citation surround. Man, what a difference! I thought I would crave a cinema visit after the lockdown, but that is no longer necessary after this purchase. You really feel like you are in the cinema. Not only does the sound now come from behind, but the sound quality is also significantly better than a setup with only the bar and sub. My expectations were also met when playing music: the sound now sounds much fuller.

one small minus: after the 1st installation (which takes 2 minutes) the speakers sometimes faltered, which is very annoying when you're watching a movie. I then reset all devices individually, reset the bar to factory settings, reconnected everything and did a software update. Haven't had a single hiccup since then.
