According to our capsule and pad machine expert
With the Duo Select function, you can make your cup of coffee stronger and creamier by turning the dial to the right.
Thanks to the Intensity Select function, you can adjust the amount of water, so you can make a stronger cup of coffee.
The indicator light comes on automatically when it's time to descale the coffee machine.
You have to refill the 0.9-liter water tank after brewing 5 cups of coffee.
With the Philips Senseo Viva Café Duo HD6566 / 30 Rosé Koper you can easily adjust the amount and strength of your cup of coffee. You can adjust the strength by turning the pointer of the button to the icon with 1 or 2 beans. When you press the preparation button once, you make a standard sized Senseo coffee. By pressing this button twice in succession, you make a small cup of coffee. You can place cups of different sizes under the adjustable metal coffee spout. As soon as the indicator light comes on, it is time to descale the coffee machine. Handy, because you don't have to keep up with this yourself. The coffee machine switches off automatically after use.

Design
I was one of the lucky ones who got to test the new SENSEO® Viva Café Duo Select, and to be honest I already assumed not to be disappointed, since I have already owned 2 Senseo devices and was very satisfied with them! Actually, all the functions of this Senseo were comparable to the previous ones I had at home:
The big difference with the "classic" Senseo is that the Viva Café Duo Select has a rotary knob that allows you to brew different strengths with one and the same type of coffee pad, so it can be adjusted to personal taste. And if that's not enough, there is the option of pressing the 1 or 2 cup button for a small strong SENSEO coffee, or a large and milder mug! I also noticed that the coffee tasted more aromatic than I was used to with my previous Senseo's, so apparently the technology has been improved, which really provides a better taste experience! The only point of criticism is that, as far as I'm concerned, the device can also switch off earlier than after 30 minutes, because once switched on it takes so little time to make your cup of coffee that there is even more energy to be gained! All in all, this new SENSEO® Viva Café Duo Select fully meets my expectations and I recommend it to anyone who likes convenience but above all a delicious cup of coffee!

We are very satisfied with this new version of the Senseo Viva Cafe. The design is tough. The coffee nice and hot. You can adjust the coffee strength with a rotary knob. The parts are easy to clean. The coffee spout is adjustable in height and that ensures less splashing with a small cup.
