According to our blood pressure monitor expert
You can connect the device via Bluetooth to the VitaDock app to gain insight into readings.
The blood pressure monitor measures both your blood pressure and your heart rate, giving you a more complete picture of your health.
The device has 250 memory slots for 2 different users, so you have enough space to store all readings.
The blood pressure monitor hasn't been tested for reliability by STRIDE BP for The Dutch Heart Foundation.
The Medisana BU 542 Connect is a blood pressure monitor that you connect to your telephone via the VitaDock application, so that your data is always transparent. The device measures your blood pressure via the upper arm. On the display you can see your heartbeat next to the diastolic and systolic blood pressure. When your heart rate is irregular, the blood pressure monitor gives a message. Thanks to the 2 user profiles with 250 memory slots each, you also keep track of your measurements over long periods of time. In addition, the device automatically calculates an average blood pressure over various measurements. A battery indicator on the BU 542 Connect screen shows when the batteries need to be replaced.
As a care employee in the cardiology department, now also a pleasant and accurate blood pressure monitor at home
