According to our barebone expert
This barebone has WiFi to connect wirelessly to the internet.
Thanks to the Intel Core i3 processor you have sufficient computing power for light to medium tasks.
Mount the barebone on the back of a monitor thanks to the included VESA bracket.
This barebone is missing several key parts, such as RAM, hard drives, and an operating system.
The Intel Bean Canyon BOXNUC8i3BEH2 is a very compact computer for use in the office and home workplaces. Thanks to the small size you can place this small PC on every desk. Do you really no longer have space at your workplace? Then you even mount this barebone behind a monitor. That way you have enough workspace on your desk. Thanks to the Intel Core i3 processor you use this PC for editing texts and sheets or surfing the web. With the Intel Iris Plus graphics you can also easily play videos in Full HD and QHD. The barebone has space for a maximum of 32GB of RAM and install both an M.2 and a 2.5 inch SSD in this barebone.
Note: This barebone still lacks some core components, such as memory, hard drives and an operating system.
Performance is higher than expected. The i3 is strong enough for all the house, garden and kitchen violence.

When mounting the memory + M.2, the SATA connector to the drive bay was not disconnected. Since I didn't want to force this, let it sit during installation, which took a little longer than usual.
The UEFI boot took some getting used to with setting up if you are used to legacy. :) Otherwise a great device, runs VMWare ESXi without any problems and is about as fast as previous generation i5 (NUC7i5BNH).

Fast, quiet and solid. Server 2019 also runs well on it.
