A cold shoe connector to attach it to your camera is missing.
With the Boya Duo Lavalier Microphone BY-M1DM, you can record 2 people at the same time. You can use this in an interview or conversation, for example. The sound is recorded on 2 separate tracks, so you can edit and adjust the recordings separately. You can connect the microphone to your smartphone, camcorder, SLR, and mirrorless camera, among others. This makes the microphone suitable for both beginner and advanced videographers. The toggle button allows you to switch between camera and smartphone mode. That way, you can use the microphone in multiple situations. You have a lot of freedom of movement thanks to the long 4m cable. With the included windscreen, you get no noise in your recordings when you film outdoors.
I was skeptical at first because of the price, but now that I've tried it I definitely recommend it for beginners. The sound is not professional (like Senheisser) but many times better than without. Better and cheaper than the Røde microphones.

Simple solution to record interviews with much better quality than 'just on the phone/ipad', without immediately purchasing very expensive equipment.
