According to our iron expert
With 7.5 bars of steam pressure, you'll finish ironing your laundry in no time, and the high steam burst of 520 grams per minute takes care of the most persistent creases.
The temperature and steam settings are automatically adjusted, allowing you to consecutively iron different kinds of fabric.
Thanks to the Silent Steam technology, the steam generator doesn't make as much noise during ironing, and the light weight of the iron means you don't have to put in as much effort.
Note: a steam generator doesn't fit on a regular ironing board.
During use you can refill the water reservoir, but you have to wait a while until the water is heated up again.
The Philips PerfectCare Expert Plus GC8962/40 is one of the most powerful and professional steam generators from Philips. Thanks to the high steam pressure of 7.5 bar and steam burst of 520 grams per minute, you can easily blitz through the laundry pile. The iron is lightweight, has the most advanced soleplate, and does its job more quietly than most other steam generators. OptimalTemp technology Sorting your laundry before you start ironing isn't necessary either. The OptimalTemp technology automatically sets the steam and temperature based on the fabric. This technology also prevents scorch marks on your favorite T-shirt. Descaling and switching off Is the descaling light on the steam generator lit? All you need to do is remove the lime collector from the generator and rinse it under the faucet. If you don't use the iron for a while, it switches off automatically. That way, the steam generator is both safe and energy-efficient.

Concerns the promotion: an ironing board after registration with Philips. Sorry I didn't read it properly. It can take at least 4 weeks before you have the ironing board at home. Unfortunately for me. I needed the ironing board right away. An idea to immediately supply an ironing board with payment/purchase? Must be able to find something.
Also for people who buy a steam generator for the first time..
