My old Mac Mini (model late 2012, MacOS Mojave 10.14.6) is now mainly used by daughter for school work (especially Office applications) and also serves her as a streaming station (mainly Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube) and occasionally also some video editing (Tik Tok huh) and Garage band. Before carrying out the last possible upgrade to Catalina decided to add maximum possible RAM memory: doubted between this 2x 8 GB Crucial set and 2x 8 GB Corsair set. Clarification of compatibility Mac Mini and DDR3L (variable voltage & low power) and a longer warranty period at Crucial were decisive, even though there was a larger price difference (Crucial price has risen considerably compared to Corsair). Installation in Mac Mini is a bit of a mess for the bottom slat, but after a second attempt, MacOS recognizes the memory slats without any problems. Quick performance test after installation (multi tab browser, office packages, video tools opened, VLC...) confirms higher performance and no spinning color wheel so far.
