Canon PIXMA TS705a

This printer also proves once again how intensely difficult it has been for manufacturers since the 1980s to simply have a working consumer printer that consistently does what it was made for. It only prints when the stars and month are exactly above Stonehenge, which is once every 723 solar revolutions. Error 2120 is burned into my memory because 'the paper settings for the cassette are incomplete'. Quite strange, because you can only load paper in one way (which is supplied with the printer). I used it for a good year, probably made 100 prints before it made its last flight from floor 3.

Overall a fantastic printer. Lots of options, 5 ink cartridges, 2 paper trays is very practical. However, the TS705a is seen as the successor to Canon's legendary IP7025. It is a pity in that respect that the TS705a scores lower in terms of print quality than the IP7025. The IP7025 has a print quality of 9600 x 2400 pixels, while with the TS705a it is only 4800 x 1200. As far as the Canon brand is concerned, unsurpassed in terms of price/quality. Been a loyal user for 18 years now. Bought 1x another brand, 2 days later went back to get a Canon.

difficult installation, constantly chooses the wrong setting. Not recommended
