For gamers and others who process a lot of data, an SSD like this is a must. However, if you're just looking for a little more disk space, I'd still wait until the prices drop, or go for a size less.

This Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 1TB can be built in quickly, one thing you have to pay attention to, when securing An adapter screw must first be placed in the motherboard, otherwise the SSD cannot be properly secured. (At least this had to be with my motherboard.) After that it's very easy. Carefully insert the ssd into the lock, then tighten the screw and installation is ready. After powering up , one must initialize the disk in disk management . Download and install the latest m2 driver. The drive works well for me, only gets very hot, operating temperature 58 degrees C.

Today this was in the bus, new ssd m.2 for my ryzen game pc. I was just curious if it would be plug and play on my aorus x470 ultra gaming motherboard, but immediately clicked and booted windows from usb via this drive. In total the installation took 6 minutes, the seventh minute I was already installing drivers. The loading times of, among others, windows (6 seconds from this m2 from turning on the pc), games (1 minute at 7200rpm hd) to 9 seconds on this ssd in certain games, make me wonder why I didn't buy this earlier. If you don't have an SSD yet, don't hesitate, if this m.2 NVme fits into your motherboard, it's as easy as inserting a USB stick into a USB slot.
