According to our mobile phone expert
The screen of this device is sharper than that of comparable smartphones.
You can get large groups or buildings in the shot easily, thanks to the wide-angle lens.
You can place both an extra SIM card and a memory card in this device.
This smartphone is not waterproof, unlike the devices from the Samsung S series.
The device is quite large, so it can sometimes be difficult to operate with 1 hand.
With the triple camera of the Samsung Galaxy A50, you can take sharp photos. Thanks to the wide-angle lens, you can also easily photograph a large group of people. You can also take sharp selfies with the 25-megapixel camera on the front of the phone. This selfie camera is incorporated in a notch in the clear 6.4-inch Full HD screen. This allows you to watch your favorite series without any distractions. The large 4000mAh battery of the A50 supports fast charging and is charged in an instant. Moreover, you'll never have to worry about your battery again. You can save your apps, photos, and videos on the 128GB memory. You can easily unlock the phone with the fingerprint sensor in the touchscreen.

I've been using the Galaxy A50 for a week and a half now and I'm very happy with it. Although I was previously used to a fingerprint scanner on the Home button, this is quite different; the scanner takes an awfully long time and does not always work. On the other hand, the phone has very good facial recognition so that I can still easily unlock the phone.
The large storage capacity is also a big advantage; I can easily install a good load of apps on it and still have a lot of space left.
The battery life is the biggest winner for me: I use my phone quite intensively, and can easily use it for two days before I have to charge it again. Thanks to the Fast Charging, this charging is then beeped again in about an hour; ideal! It does come with a USB-C cable; otherwise no problem, but in my area this means always having to bring your own charger, because not everyone has this yet.
The screen size is also very nice. I can easily reach everything, but the disadvantage is that the screen ratio is not the 'standard' ratio, which some apps are not yet built on. However, this is often easy to adjust. For example, I can switch between full-screen and 'slightly less full-screen' on Netflix; because the differences are so minimal for me, I always have it full-screen.
All in all, highly recommended for a very good price-quality ratio, you make some compromises on the fingerprint scanner and screen proportions, but this earns the phone back with all its advantages.

Had the Samsung Galaxy S7 before, was in doubt between an S8 or A50. So I finally went for the A50 and actually surprised me. In my opinion, the device is not inferior to the S series. It is very user-friendly and fast in my opinion. For that price/quality ratio I am very happy with my choice!
