According to our earbuds expert
Thanks to the H1 chip, you can automatically connect the earbuds to your Apple devices and activate Siri with your voice.
You can charge the charging case wirelessly.
Thanks to the fully wireless design, you don't suffer from cables along your body or in your neck.
You need an Apple iPhone, iPad, or Mac to take full advantage of AirPods.
To charge the charging case wirelessly, purchase a wireless charger separately.
Charging with cables is a thing of the past with the Apple AirPods 2. The charging case supports the Qi stand, so you can charge the case wirelessly. On a full battery you can listen to music with the AirPods for 5 hours. If you also include the battery of the charging case, you can listen to your favorite songs for 24 hours. A new feature of the AirPods 2, is that you can speak to Siri without touching the earbuds. This now works with voice control, just like the iPhone.
H1 chipThe earbuds have the H1 chip, which was designed by Apple. This chip ensures that it only takes you seconds to connect your earbuds with all your iCloud devices. This means you can quickly switch from your MacBook to your iPhone and back. In addition, the chip ensures a stable connection.
Android compatibilityWhen you connect your AirPods to your Android smartphone, you can use all of the basic functions. That way, you can listen to your favorite music wirelessly via Bluetooth. The music won't accidentally pause when you take one earbud out of your ear, you can't check the battery status, and you'll have to connect the earbuds manually every time.
Sound according to expertThe Apple AirPods 2 aren't for you if you love listening to powerful bass. Since these are earbuds, they don't fully seal your ears. This means the bass doesn't come through very well. The mid-range isn't boosted, so the instruments and vocals sound like the artist intended. You can't adjust the sound via an equalizer, so you'll have to make do with the factory settings.
Note: Apple does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your current accessories, or purchase them separately.

The Apple iPods connect quickly, do not emit light and you have beautiful and full sound. If you lose them, you can easily find them again. They work easily and the batteries last a long time. They are quickly recharged in the charging case. They are great.

After much deliberation, I made the choice to go for the AirPods. I was afraid that the AirPods would quickly fall out of my ears, because that is the case with the wired standard Apple earphones. No problem with the wireless version! The AirPods stay put.
If you're deep into the Apple ecosystem, then this is actually a no-brainer, it obviously works smoothly again. Very nice and now I even get the feeling why didn't I do this before.. :)
